What services do you offer?
We design and build custom decks, porches, pergolas, screen rooms and other outdoor living spaces, plus garages. We also offer deck repair, maintenance and upgrades, including railings, stairs and lighting.
What materials do you use for deck construction?
Pressure-treated wood, cedar, composite decking, PVC decking and exotic hardwoods like Ipe and Tigerwood. We can help you select the best material for your needs, budget and style.
How much does it cost to build a deck?
The cost depends on size, materials, design complexity and extra features. We provide free consultations and detailed quotes so you know the cost up front.
How long does it take to build a deck?
Most standard decks take 1 to 3 weeks to complete, while larger or more intricate designs may take longer. We'll give you an estimated timeline during the consultation.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
Yes, we take care of obtaining all necessary permits and coordinating inspections so your deck meets local building codes and regulations.
Are your decks covered by a warranty?
Yes, we offer warranties on our workmanship and materials. Details depend on the materials used and the scope of the project, which we'll explain during planning.
Can you design a deck to match my home's style?
Absolutely. We work closely with you to create a design that complements your home's architecture and reflects your personal style.
Can you add features like built-in seating, planters or fire pits?
Yes. We can build in seating, planters, fire pit areas, outdoor kitchens and more. Tell us your vision and we'll bring it to life.
Do you provide maintenance for existing decks?
Yes. We offer cleaning, sealing, staining and repairs to keep your deck in excellent condition and extend its life.
Do you build garages?
Yes. We build detached and attached garages, workshops, garages with loft storage, and carports.
Who pours the slab for a garage?
We plan the foundation as part of the job, and our sister company, Asheville Concrete & Driveway, can pour the slab and the driveway apron.
Can you screen in my existing porch or deck?
Often, yes. If the structure can carry a roof, we can add one and screen it in. We check it during the free quote.
Do you build sunrooms and patio covers?
Yes. We build patio and deck covers, carports, sunrooms and gazebos in aluminum or wood.
Do you still build fences?
No. We were Asheville Deck & Fence, and we've stopped building fences to focus on decks, porches and garages. Same family, same phone number.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes, we provide free, no-obligation estimates for all our projects.
Do you offer financing options?
Yes, we offer flexible financing options to make your outdoor space more affordable. Contact us for details on available plans.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks and major credit cards.
Are there additional costs I should be aware of?
We aim to be transparent. Any additional costs, such as permits or extra customization, are clearly listed in your estimate.
What areas do you serve?
